Are spectators allowed?

A lot of people have been asking if spectators are allowed at the Chennai Grand Masters 2023 venue - the Leela Palace in Chennai. The answer is - Yes! We will be allowing a few spectators on first come first serve basis.

Spectators will get a chance to view the action up close for a few minutes. The playing hall is open for spectators for the first three hours, later on you can enjoy the commentary room.

The spectators room with nice seating...

...and the commentary by Sagar and Amruta, with amazing guests (like Vishy Anand) can be followed here. Anish Giri and Sopiko Guramishvili join us online from the Netherlands

Fill the form to be eligible to come to the Chennai Grand Masters 2023 Day 7

Please only fill the form if you are going to come. We will be having spectators on first come first serve basis. How do you know, if your passes are confirmed? Well, if you were able to fill the form, it means you will be allowed to come. We will be closing the form after a threshold is reached. If you are not coming it will take away the chance of someone else to participate.

The Spectators will get a chance to watch the players in action for a few minutes and can then sit in the commentary room where we will have the commentary of IM Sagar Shah and Amruta Mokal along with GM Anish Giri and WGM Sopiko Guramishvili.
