Jaidambareesh and Ishan draw with GMs
The reigning Andhra Pradesh State Sub-Junior Under-15 Girls champion, Sarvani Cheedella scored a big victory against the strong IM Ratnakaran K in Round 2.

Jeeva - Teterev, Round 2

White needed to go for Bxf6+ check right away to increase his chances. 3.Bxf6+ Kd7 4.Ne5+ would have made things quite difficult for Black to defend especially on less time. The game continued 3.Ne3 Bb7 4.Bxf6+ Kd7 5.Ne3 and it meandered into a draw. Find out the key difference between playing Bxf6+ in the above diagram and when it was actually played in the game.
Gaurav Sharma (1495) drew with IM Anuj Shrivatri (2407).
Lalit - Jaidambareesh, Round 3

Jaidambareesh N R (1666) had a good opportunity in the above position. He needed to go 26...Rd4 instead of Rd5 which was played in the game. White does not have a good defense after Rd4. In the endgame, things turned into White's favor.

48.Ne5 lands Black in a pickle. Either he must exchange the bishop with the knight via Bd4 or keep his pieces glued to the defense. Of course, there is no immediate win for White but he would have had a long-term advantage.
